Uisce Éireann says its crews have repaired a burst water main in Lixnaw and supply is now returning to customers.
The pipe burst yesterday evening and the repair was completed this morning.
The national utility says it typically takes three to four hours following repairs for normal supply to restore to all customers.
However, it may take longer for customers on higher ground or at the end of the network.
Uisce Éireann says a water tanker will remain available at Lixnaw Community Centre; those using this are being reminding to use their own containers and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure.
