The cost of travel and subsistence for UHK staff was over €310,000 over a two-year period.
This is according to the HSE, which has released details under the FOI Act about costs relating to staff in the Tralee hospital during 2018 and 2019.
In 2019 year, €155,000 was spent on staff travel and subsistence, a decrease on 2018's total of €159,000.

In previous years, according to the hospital's financial reports, travel and subsistence costs were approximately €170,000.
