Two emergency accommodation centres in Kerry for Ukrainian refugees are to close this summer.
The Department of Justice is reporting that the need for such facilities has decreased across Ireland, and as a result, some centres are being shut down.
Amongst these are Kings Court Student Apartments in Tralee, where the 37 residents have been given until 4th July to leave.
Meanwhile, the eleven remaining residents at the Skellig Accommodation Centre in Cahersiveen can stay there until the 8th August.
The Department of Justice says relocations to new accommodation will begin in June and will continue throughout the summer.
About 24,400 Ukrainians currently reside in roughly 680 state-supported centres.
Between now and early August, 32 contracts are expected to end, affecting approximately 2,400 residents.
