Two newly graduated gardaí are to be assigned to the Kerry Garda Division.
167 new Gardaí became sworn members of the force today.
The southern region will be assigned 21 trainees, including two to the Kerry Garda Division.
One of the newly sworn officers will be stationed in Tralee, while another is to be deployed in Killarney.
They began training in June 2025 and will start operational duties in the coming weeks.
The allocation of new Gardaí to Kerry has been welcomed by Equality Minister Norma Foley, Fianna Fáil TD Michael Cahill and Fine Gael Senator Mike Kennelly.
The new Gardaí consist of 100 men and 67 women, from 15 nations including Ireland, Australia, England, Poland, India and Brazil.
A further 410 recruits are currently in training and the next intake of up to 215 trainees will enter the Garda College in Templemore on Monday.
