Two new Cathaorligh elected for Killarney and Kenmare Municipal Districts

Two new Cathaorligh have been elected for the Killarney and Kenmare Municipal Districts.

Labour councillor Marie Moloney will take on the role of Cathaoirleach of the Killarney MD and Fianna Fáil councillor Niall Kelleher was elected Leas-Cathaoirleach.

Fianna Fáil councillorMichael Cahill is the new Cathaoirleach of the Kenmare Municipal District and his party colleague Cllr John Francis Flynn was elected Leas-Cathaoirleach.

Yesterday, the annual meetings of the Tralee, Listowel and Castleisland Corca Dhuibhne MDs were held and Cathaoirligh were appointed.

The annual meeting of Kerry County Council will take place Monday.
