Two men remain in Garda custody this evening in relation to the seizure of €150,000 worth of drugs in Kerry.
The raids and arrests were made in four towns across the county yesterday as part of Operation Tara.
The Garda Kerry Divisional Drugs Unit carried out a number of searches at commercial premises on Wednesday (May 7th).
It’s understood vape shops were raided in Tralee, Listowel, Killarney and Killorglin as part of the operation.
€150,000 worth psychoactive drugs, cannabis, and cannabis edibles and vapes were seized.
The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Two men in their 50s were arrested, they are still detained at separate Garda Stations in the county, under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
