Two Kerry students honoured at National Final of the Student Enterprise Awards

Two Kerry students have been honoured at the National Final of the Student Enterprise Awards.

Katie Walsh, a 2nd year student at Castleisland Community College won the Greg Fry Shining Star Award for her company ‘Eyes for All’.

Her booklet offers advice and support for visually impaired people in education.

Lucy O’Brien, a 3rd year student from Killorglin Community College, won in the Start-Up stories intermediate category for her homemade treats company ‘Lucy Bakes’.

The competition was held in Mullingar Park Hotel and saw over 16,000 entrants.
