Two people have appeared in court charged in connection with the seizure of €30,000 worth of suspected cannabis in Killorglin.
The man and woman appeared at a recent sitting of Cahersiveen District Court, in connection with the drugs seizure.
35-year-old Kevin O’Flynn of Glencuttane Lower, Kilgobnet, faces two charges arising from the seizure of the suspected drugs.
They are the possession of the drug, and possession of the drug for sale or supply.
41-year-old Carolanne McCloskey, of 54 An Bháinseach, Killorglin, also faces two charges; possession of the drug at her home address, and possession for sale or supply on 27th March.
The court was told that DPP directions are not yet available, and the matter was adjourned to 21st April for the judge to decide on jurisdiction.
Ms McCloskey was represented in court by solicitor Pádraig O’Connell, who asked that the matters against his client be discontinued as she strongly denies the accusations.
