50 people including families and children in Tralee will be gifted care packages this month as part of an initiative organised by a young traveller girls group.
The collaboration is between Tralee Lions Club, An Garda Siochána and Kerry Local Creative Youth Partnership (LCYP), and supports those experiencing homelessness this Christmas.
The initiative was supported by Trish Fitzpatrick, Community Garda in Tralee, and their long association with Tralee Lions Club.

Just under €1000 will be spent across two centres in Tralee, with each item in the package carefully chosen, packed, and distributed by the teenage girls involved in putting it all together.
