Tralee’s annual Good Friday pageant will return for its 23rd year this Holy Week.
This dramatic presentation will be staged by the Parish Liturgy Drama Group in St John's Church on Castle Street at 3pm this Good Friday, 18th April.
More than 40 actors, aged from eight to 80, from the two Tralee parishes are involved in this year’s production.
The group includes ten primary school pupils, eight second- and third-level students, 14 working adults and 13 retirees.
The performance will be accompanied by the St John the Baptist Church Choir, under the direction of Michael O’Shea.
There is also three person costume and wardrobe team.
Those unable to attend in person, can watch the live-streamed ceremony on the parish website.
The pageant was first introduced 23 years ago by Fr Pat Ahern.
