A Tralee school is rallying around a student who's been hospitalised after getting into difficulties in the sea in Fenit on Saturday.
Luke Silles, who is a sixth-year student at CBS The Green in Tralee, is in a stable but critical condition in hospital.
His Irish teacher Cllr Fionnán Fitzgerald says the school is supporting his classmates and family.

Cllr Fitzgerald says numerous messages of support have been sent to the school, which he says is giving hope and courage to the Silles family.
Fionnán Fitzgerald is asking people to continue to pray for Luke and his family.
