Valentia Coast Guard assists emergency services after teenager gets into difficulty in Fenit

Valentia Coast Guard was called to assist emergency services last night, after a young man got into difficulty in Fenit.

The boy, in his late teens, was swimming with friends near the pontoon at Kelly's Beach when the alarm was raised.

Emergency services arrived at the scene, and it's understood that CPR was administered.

At this time, the condition of the young man is not yet known.
