The Rotary Club in Tralee has launched its Youth Leadership Development Competition.
The competition aims to recognise young leaders by offering them opportunities to develop their skills and represent their communities.
Successful candidates will go on to national level and top finalists will be given the chance to visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Speaking at the launch, the president of the Rotary Club Tralee, Daniel Giles, said he was delighted to bring the competition back to the town.
The competition is open to senior students in secondary schools in the Tralee area.
