A Tralee man has been reflecting on his six months living on the Great Blasket Island.
James Hayes and his wife Camille Rosenfeld from America spent the time running the island’s facilities including rental cottages and the cafe.
During that time they had no hot water or electricity.

James said that despite the initial challenge and dark nights it made him realise how little we need.
