A Tralee councillor has called for updates on a comprehensive bus service for the town.
Fianna Fáil Cllr Mikey Sheehy urged Kerry County Council to write to the National Transport Authority asking for developments.
He said that improvements are needed when it comes to extending operating hours, frequency of services, increasing the number of routes.
Cllr Sheehy argued that many towns of comparable size and population to Tralee have fully operational public transport.
He requested that the NTA provide a clear timeline for the delivery of the service.
