The “third world” standard of roads and footpaths in Caherciveen and on the Ring of Kerry need to be addressed.
That's according to councillor Tommy Cahill who raised his concerns with the Taoiseach during his weekend visit to Cahersiveen.
He pressed for immediate investment from Transport Infrastructure Ireland to address safety and infrastructure decline.
The councillor also warned of a worsening housing crisis, urging more land for residential zoning and flexibility in planning rules.
Cllr Cahill says he’ll keep pressure on both local and national government until South Kerry sees real action.
