The Humanity Ball in Tralee raises over €245,000 for charities

The Humanity Ball, a New Year’s Eve black-tie event in Tralee, has raised €245, 329 for three charities.

The event, which took place in Ballygarry Estate Hotel and Spa, was a fundraiser for Kerry Hospice Foundation, One4Humanity and the Tír na nÓg Chidren’s Foundation.

Cheques were presented today at the Ballygarry venue.

Kerry Hospice Foundation received over €165,000.

Jenny Tarrant from Kerry Hospice thanked The Humanity Ball organisers and everyone who donated to the event.

Louise Quill is the founder of Tír na nÓg Children’s Foundation in Tanzania; the charity received  €40,000 from The Humanity Ball.

One4Humanity provides medical supplies in crisis zones and received €40,000 from The Humanity Ball fundraiser.

Ross Kelly is director of its Gaza response; the charity is now looking to help in another war-torn state.
