The proposed units will be ‘illuminated’ with the Tesla logo and accompanied by a modular substation and EV signage.

In a planning report submitted by McArdle Doyle Chartered Engineers on behalf of Tesla, they said these charging bays can provide up to 100km of driving range in six minutes.

They added that the proposed site can easily accommodate the installation and is ideally positioned on the national road network.
