Ten farmers in Kerry are still waiting on ACRES payments from 2023.
Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme, or ACRES payments are financial supports for Irish farmers implementing biodiversity-friendly and climate-focused actions.
The payments began in 2023, with almost €743.2 million paid to date.
About 99.8% of those eligible for payment for the 2023 scheme year have been paid, with 103 payments still outstanding nationwide.
Of these outstanding payment, ten are in Kerry, the third highest number, just behind Donegal (13) and Galway (15).
The figures were provided by the Minister for Agriculture, Martin Heydon, following a query from Social Democrats TD Jennifer Whitmore.
