Temperatures reached 21 (21.4) degrees in Kerry yesterday.
That's according to Met Eireann who recorded the data from South Kerry's weather station Valentia Observatory.
The warmest part of the country was Phoenix Park where temperatures reached nearly 28 degrees.

It comes as a major heatwave is set to hit Europe, with temperatures over 40 degrees in many areas.
