Topographical surveys to inform the design of the Tralee to Listowel Greenway will be completed during the first quarter of the new year.
An update on the Tralee to Listowel greenway project was sought by Sinn Féin councillor Paul Daly at the recent Tralee Municipal District meeting.
Kerry County Council says Fehilly Timoney have been appointed as consultants and their commission will take the scheme through the statutory consent process.
The third phase of public consultation was undertaken last July and the council says the design team is currently engaging with adjoining landowners along the preferred option
It says topographical surveys, which are true to scale maps and drawings, to inform the design will be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
