Over 1,100 students will graduate from the Munster Technological University’s Kerry campus today.
The graduates are from 53 countries and the ceremonies will begin at 10am at the Kerry Sports Academy.
Students from various departments spanning business, tourism and hospitality, to nursing, social sciences, computing and engineering will receive their degree today.
David Donoghue, a former senior Irish diplomat, and Stan McCarthy, non-executive chairman of Ryanair and former chief executive of Kerry Group will receive honorary doctorates.
More than 3,880 students will graduate across MTU’s campuses in Kerry and Cork this week.
President of Munster Technological University, Professor Maggie Cusack, says these conferring ceremonies are a celebration of the talent, ambition, and hard work of graduates.
