A series of wall murals depicting Killarney through the eyes of young artists, called Streetscapes, will be launched this week.
Streetscapes is a collaboration betwen Kerry Local Creative Youth Partnership (LCYP), and the Architecture Kerry festival at Kerry County Council.
It consists of a series of wall murals which depict the town of Killarney through the eyes of young artists who have explored their built environment and its potential to evolve.
The murals are created by two groups of children living in Killarney, and their artworks explore freedom and play.
The exhibition launches at 5pm on Wednesday at College Square Killarney, and will be on display on the gable walls of Reen's Life Pharmacy and the New Mayflower Takeaway.
The initiative is supported under the Creative Ireland Programme.
