Tomorrow night's opening parade of the 2024 Christmas in Killarney Festival has been cancelled.
Organisers have decided to call off the event for safety reasons, with Storm Bert forecast to bring strong winds and heavy rain.
They issued a statement expressing their regret but emphasised 'safety comes first'.

A street parade scheduled for the following Saturday, the 30th November, is still set to go ahead, weather permitting.
