Gale force winds are forecast in a number of counties today ahead of Storm Amy.
A status yellow rain warning will come into place for Kerry at 9am and will remain valid until 3pm today.
There will also be a status yellow wind warning for Kerry, along with the rest of the country, from midday until midnight.
Met Éireann is warning of difficult driving conditions, displaced objects and the possibility of fallen trees.
Meanwhile, a status orange wind warning will come into effect in counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo from 2pm until 10pm.

Some roads in Kerry remain flooded this morning.
Director of services with Kerry County Council John Kennelly says there is a lot of surface water even on main roads.
He's urging motorists to drive with extreme caution and to allow extra time for their journeys.
