A status yellow weather warning has been issued for Kerry from this afternoon.
The alert for wind and rain for the county, which is also in place in Cork, comes into effect from 12 noon.
Met Éireann says heavy rain, localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions and some fallen trees and branches are expected.

The warning is in effect until 8 o’clock this evening.
