A status yellow snow and ice warning has been issued for 11 counties, including Kerry.
It will begin at 9pm and will remain active until 9am tomorrow.
Met Éireann says showers may fall as sleet and snow, and could bring about poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
This warning comes as a status yellow rain warning remains in place for Kerry until 3pm and a status yellow wind warning is valid for the county until 6pm.
