A status yellow rain alert has been issued for Kerry and two other southern counties.
The first warning comes into effect for Kerry and Cork from 5 o'clock tomorrow (Saturday) evening and runs for 12 hours.
Meanwhile Waterford will be under a 12 hour status yellow alert from 8pm tomorrow.

Met Éireann is warning of localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
