St. Patrick's Day celebrations are in full swing around the county this afternoon.
Parades are taking place throughout the day, with the Traditional Dingle Fife & Drum March setting off at 6am.
Parades in Castlemaine and Ballyduff have taken place, and the Tralee parade is underway, as are the Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane and Ballinskelligs parades.
St Patrick’s Day parades in Tarbert and Mountcollins began at 12.30.
In Dingle the main parade got underway at half past 12 this afternoon from the relief road.
Fife and Drum Band member Ciarán Williams discussed the atmosphere in Dingle following the early morning march and what lay ahead for the rest of the day:
Parades in Sneem and Listowel are underway and are just about to start in Killorglin.
Castleisland and Causeway parades are expected to begin at 1.30.
Speaking ahead of the Castleisland parade, Cllr Charlie Farrelly is expecting a large turnout:
The Killarney parade begins at 2pm on Mission Road.

It's also a 2 o clock start for parades in Cahersiveen and Kenmare.
St Patrick’s Day celebrations in Ballybunion, Ballyheigue, Castlegregory and Finuge all commence at 3PM, while it’s a 3.30 start in Ballymacelligott from Clogher Church.
The final parades of the day begin from 4PM, in Abbeyfeale, Kilflynn, and in Waterville.
