SIPTU has declined to comment on reports of an impasse in redundancy negotiations with Kostal Abbeyfeale.
The major employer in North Kerry and West Limerick confirmed in February that up to 140 jobs would be lost at the facility.
In January, management at Kostal had announced that the production of on-board ev chargers would be transferred from Abbeyfeale to China.
