Sinn Féin describe UHK's €127,000 bike shed as 'tone deaf'

Sinn Féin is describing a new €127,000 hospital bike shed in Kerry as 'tone deaf'.

The HSE is being called before the Dáil Public Accounts Committee to explain the final cost of the shed at University Hospital Kerry, when options of between 6 and 9 thousand euro were available.

It holds up to 40 bikes, and is only available to staff.

It comes less than two years after a similar project at Leinster House was revealed to have cost over €330,000.
