Shannon Airport records 8% rise in passenger numbers in first half of year

Shannon Airport has seen an 8 per cent rise in passenger numbers during the first half of this year.

The airport says it recorded over 974 thousand passengers through its doors between January and June.

The company says it's on track to reach 2 million passengers before the end of the year.
