Gardaí say searches will continue this week for Michael Gaine.
The 56-year-old farmer was last seen in Kenmare town five weeks ago today.
An Garda Síochána say searches are continuing to be carried out this week for Michael Gaine.
He was last seen 35 days ago, buying phone credit in Centra in Kenmare town, at 9.48am.
His car - a bronze coloured RAV4 - was later found parked in his farmyard, just off the N71 at Carrig East.
In the past five weeks Gardaí have carried out extensive searches and inquiries into the disappearance of Mike Gaine; and have undertaken over 230 formal inquiries over this period.
Searches continue to be carried out in the Kenmare area, with the assistance of specialist services.
An Garda Síochána continue to review the investigation on a daily basis from an incident room at Killarney Garda Station.
Gardaí say the missing persons investigation is ongoing and are appealing to anyone who may have details on Michael Gaine’s whereabouts to contact them.
He is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a stocky build, brown/grey hair and a bushy beard.
When last seen, he was wearing an orange woolly hat, black fleece, blue jeans and black boots.
