Sculptor launched fundraising campaign for statue of Luke Skywalker in Kerry

A sculptor has launched a fundraising campaign to get a statue of Luke Skywalker installed in Kerry.

Artist David O'Brien has set up a GoFundMe page to raise 150-thousand euro to cast and erect the statue of Mark Hamill's character in the Star Wars sequel films, in Portmagee.

The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi were shot around Ireland, including on the Skellig Islands.
