A road on Valentia Island should be reopening shortly following a crash (3:05pm)

Gardaí say the shore road between Knightstown and Chapeltown was closed following a collision involving a bicycle and a truck.

Killarney gardaí say the incident, which occurred in the past hour, is fortunately not serious and the road should reopen shortly.
