There has been a rise in the number of middle-income families in Kerry seeking help from the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
This is in line with national trends as the cost-of-living crisis pushes electricity and heating bills, as well as grocery prices, up.

The organisation has launched its Meals on Wheels & Community Laundry Service in Killarney.
They report having delivered almost 20,500 (20,499) dinners across Tralee and Killarney so far this year.
