A status orange rain warning is in place across Kerry, with some flooding reported.
The L4047 Ballaghbeama Gap road is closed due to flooding.
Meanwhile, the R559 Riasc road is also flooded, but Kerry County Council says it is passable at the moment with care

Elsewhere, motorists are advised to exercise caution along the Sportsfield Road in Sneem, and on the N70 between Sneem and Kenmare due to extensive surface water.The status orange rain warning for Kerry is due to finish at 8 o’clock this evening.
Met Éireann has also issued a series of alerts for thunderstorms, rain and wind between today, tomorrow and Saturday for different parts of the country.
