Reports a decision from Kerry Group on dairy processing arm sale imminent

It’s being reported that a decision from Kerry Group on the sale of its dairy processing arm is imminent.

Last week, the IFA and milk suppliers reacted to reports which indicated negotiations were nearing conclusion on a deal that would see Kerry Co-op buy a 60% share of Kerry Group's dairy business.

Farmers supplying milk to Kerry Co-op called to be fully consulted before any joint venture deal with Kerry Group is finalised.

Today’s Irish Independent is reporting an announcement by Kerry Group on the offer, estimated to be around €700 million, may happen this week.
