Kerry’s remote location is impacting on the recruitment of nurses.
That’s according to FRS Recruitment’s 2023 Review and 2024 Trend Forecast report.
It states that demand for nursing vacancies remained consistent nationally last year, apart from in Kerry, West Cork, and Donegal, which all faced a shortage of candidates.

FRS Recruitment is predicting a 5% increase in employment in Kerry in 2024.
