A rare development landholding of almost 33 acres on offer in Tralee is carrying a guide price of over €4.5 million.
The site is adjacent to the MTU’s Kerry North campus, and subject to planning permission, it could provide both a student village and a residential development.
The 32.8-acre zoned landbank has been brought on the market by McQuinn Property Services.
This landbank is located around 2.5km north of Tralee town centre, directly across the road from the main entrance to the MTU Kerry North campus, just 1km from the N69 Tralee Bypass.
The lands were zoned in the recently-agreed Tralee Municipal District Settlement’s Plan.
Over 17 acres of the site are zoned education, innovation, research, and development, and a feasibility study has indicated this portion could accommodate a student village of up to 900 beds.
Another 13 acres is zoned new/proposed residential, and it’s estimated these could support around 140 residential units.
Around 1.7 acres is zoned industrial, enterprise, and employment, and this includes a commercial yard and residential unit.
The site is available in its entirety, or in lots, with a guide price in excess of €4.5 million.
