The R557 Lixnaw to Finuge road at Ballyhorgan will remain closed tonight.
The road closure is to facilitate a specialist contractor to deal with a destabilised tree which poses a risk to passing traffic.
This is the second day the road will be closed in the aftermath of Storm Franklin.
