Puck Fair cancelled for the second year running

For only the second time in its history, Puck Fair has been cancelled.

Organisers of the Killorglin festival which takes place from August 10th to 12th met and made the decision not to run the event again this year.

The level of uncertainty and the restrictions that are likely to still be in place make the running of the event impossible according to Declan Falvey, chair of the Puck Fair Committee.

He is encouraging people to holiday in the Killorglin and Reeks District area but for horse owners and stall operators not to turn up for the fair:
