Public’s views sought on proposed changes to beach bye-laws in Kerry

People throughout Kerry are being invited to submit their views to proposed changes to the beach bye-laws.

Kerry County Council is proposing amendments to the Beach Bye-Laws 2022 to regulate sauna services and related commercial activities on selected beaches.

People can make submissions on these proposed changes until next Tuesday (May 5th) at 5pm.

Details of how to make a submission can be found on the Radio Kerry website.

Written submissions may be made, in writing, and clearly marked Draft Kerry County Council Beach (Amendment) Bye-Laws 2026, by 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 5th May 2026.
