Gardaí are looking for the public's help in tracing three men who were involved in a suspected burglary in Castleisland on Thursday.
One man entered a house at Gortalea through a downstairs window.
The injured party, who was at home at the time, heard noise in another room and confronted the intruder, who was rummaging through cupboards.

The suspect made his escape in a Volkswagen Passat, in which two others were waiting, and headed in the direction of Castleisland.
Anyone who was in this area between 7.30am and 7.45am on Thursday morning, and may have noticed anything suspicious, is asked to contact either Castleisland or Killarney Garda stations.
