Public consultation has opened for another 1.3km section of the South Kerry Greenway.
The 27km greenway will eventually extend between Glenbeigh and Cahersiveen, with planning approval already secured for the majority of the route.
Around 7km of the greenway is already open in two sections; one at the start from Glenbeigh to Drom West, and another at Kells.
The council is now seeking the public’s views for a 1.3km section at Cloghanelinaghan, which will bring the greenway as far as the viaduct into Cahersiveen.
This section of the greenway was omitted from the original planning application, and this period of public consultation is part of the planning process for this individual section.
People can make submissions on the plans until 11 June.
