Public consultation on a major road project in Kerry will begin on Friday.
The N22 Farranfore-Killarney road project is currently in its second phase, which includes the selection of a route and the first stage of public consultation.
Kerry County Council and partners are developing the N22 Farranfore-Killarney road.
As part of the process, a southern link road between the N22 and the N71 Muckross road in Killarney is also being developed and forms part of the consultation.
Cathaoirleach of Kerry County Council Cllr Patrick Connor-Scarteen says this a hugely important project and has potential to enhance regional connectivity between the north and south of the county.
The online public consultation period will run for six weeks from Friday to June 25th.
During the period, people can also book an appointment within the online virtual room and request a call back to speak with a member of the project team by phone or video call.
The public can view the shortlisted route options online from Friday or, alternatively, submissions can also be sent in by freepost or email.
