People who use the Tralee Sports Complex can expect improvements by September.
That’s according to chair of the Tralee Regional Sports and Leisure Centre, Jim Finucane.
On January 6th the complex was forced to close after a section of the sports hall roof collapsed following heavy snowfall.

The pool, skate park and astro-turf reopened on March 31st.
Jim Finucane says a gym facility is up and running and they hope to have extra space available by September.
He says the next step will be to get a design team in place to redevelop the complex:
