A prospective international buyer has launched complaints over the sales process of a Kerry property.
Formal complaints were lodged against the Cork branch of estate agents Cushman & Wakefield and accounting firm PwC by Tony Mc Keever CEO of the South African based The Renewal Group, according to the Irish Examiner.
It’s reported that The Renewal Group offered over €5.8 million for the Fossa property, where the Killarney Brewing and Distilling Company was formerly located.
Complaints allegedly include failure to ensure a transparent sales process and lack of proper communication between the buyer and the estate agent.
Among the other bidders for the property was Kerry native and owner of the Golden Nugget restaurant, Mark Hallisey, who's reported offer of €5.7 million was also refused.
A spokesperson for PwC has said that they are satisfied with the sales process and outcome and there is no basis for the complaints against either PWC or Cushman and Wakefield.
