Property prices in Kerry rose by €7,500 between April and June.
That’s according to the latest report from MyHome.ie in association with Bank of Ireland.
It shows the average asking price of a house nationally has increased by 7%.
According to the report, the average price for a home in Kerry is €252,500, a rise of €3,500 on the same period last year.
A 3-bed semi-detached house in the county increased by €10,000 over the quarter to €220,000.
The price of a 4-bed semi-detached house in Kerry rose by €2,000 during the same period, to €250,000.
It also represents an increase of €13,500 compared to the same period the previous year.
Meanwhile, there were 340 properties for sale in Kerry at the end of June.
The report shows that the average time for a property to go sale agreed in the county after being placed on the market, stands at nearly four months.
The average first-time buyer in Ireland borrowed nearly three and a half times their income last year, according to the MyHome.ie report.
