A prohibition on bathing has come into effect at White Strand, Cahersiveen.
Kerry County Council have announced the ban after a deterioration in water quality following heavy rainfall.
The prohibition on bathing also remains in effect at the nearby Cuas Crom.

The bathing ban at Kells Beach has now been lifted.
